Is there a better job that i can get besides working at a grocery store?

Im not 21, I go to school full time in the morning. I like to work part time during school, full time in the summer when Im out of summer school, don’t mind working weekends, something better than 9.65 an hour and I want 2 days off a week. This is how my currernt job is but I’m just tired of it; do u guys have any suggestions?
If it helps….I live in Cali.

    $9.65/hour working at a grocery store!? You should feel lucky buddy. It’s pretty hard finding jobs around where I am (Cleveland). Good luck man.

    if you’re only working part-time - 9.65/hr doing what you’re doing is as good as it’s going to get

    Yeah, $9.65 seems like alot to us but I’m sure it’s not alot in Ca. Have you looked into retail. I was the retail manager of a CD store and I hired mostly college kids. The starting pay wasn’t stellar but if they were good, their pay was increased, and they got better hours. Look around before you quit your job though. Make sure that you can find a position with as good a salary if not better. Good luck :)
